Connect your Link Ring to a social profile, website, music, contact card or any other link you want to share. You can change the destination whenever you like.
Ring setup
Choose your phone
The setup process is slightly different depending on whether you use Android or iPhone.
Use Google Chrome on a compatible NFC-enabled Android phone. Make sure NFC is switched on before beginning.
Open this page in Chrome on your Android phone to begin.
Enter your link
Paste the full link you want people to see when they tap your ring.
Press “Write to my ring”
Chrome will ask for permission to use NFC on your phone. Approve the request.
Hold the ring near your phone
Hold the Link Ring against the NFC area on the back of your phone until the confirmation appears.
Test your ring
Move the ring away, lock your phone and tap the ring again to confirm that the correct link opens.
Apple currently does not allow this webpage to write directly to your Link Ring. You can still set it up easily using the free NFC Tools app.
Copy the link, then add it inside NFC Tools.
Download NFC Tools
Install and open the NFC Tools app on your iPhone.
Select “Write”
Inside the app, press Write and then select “Add a record.”
Choose “Custom URL/URI”
Paste your copied link into the URL field, press OK and then select “Write.”
Scan your Link Ring
Hold the ring near the top of your iPhone until NFC Tools confirms that the write was successful.
Changing your link later?
Repeat these same steps and write the new link over the existing
one. You do not need a new ring.
On iPhones, tap near the top of the phone. On Android phones, the NFC area is usually around the upper or centre back.
A thick phone case or magnetic accessory may make the ring harder to detect during setup.
Include the full link beginning with https:// so your phone knows exactly what it should open.
